Is it safe for the DS to play movies and such?

Whats better: PSP or DS LITE?

  • Okay, I have both of these consoles and I was just wondering what do you think it best/ prefer? Here are my reasons why I cant choose between them, these may just sway your decision =) 1. PSP (Plays movies, stores photos and gives you complete internet access, wider screen and a toggle. Also, games such as Grand Theft Auto and Football Manager can only be distributed by Sony, meaning their not available on DS. The PSP can also be a controller for the new PS3 and it has its own line of small DVD's called UMD's.) 2. Nintendo Ds Lite (Duo screen, one of which being a touch screen. Nintendo has its own games that our licensed just to them. such as the amazing Mario + Luigi, Wario, And Pokemon. All great games not available to sony. The DS also has a good Wi-Fi connection enabling the player to connect and play against 7 other people. Much more than the PSP can connect) So, thets get down to it.. What do you think is better :) (Please choose one of the other, thank you, Jack)

    If you just want the games, then D S Lite. But if you are someone that is really going to use the multi media then P S P

DS has my vote, I love the one I have. It also has a web browser so you can use it to surf the net but it is slow.

I prefer the DS it has more RPG's plus it has Zelda, the PSP is graphically impressive but other than the Metal Gear games I've found most of its games to be disappointing, theres not much original software for it but if you want PS2 style games on the go the PSP delivers that, its collection of movies isn't great and I find it to bulky to be used as an MP3 player, also the DS has the brain training titles which are surprisingly fun.

DS! I'm not a psp-hater, but I love my ds lite. I feel like the ds has a much wider selection of games, while the psp only caters to one audience. People usually look at the ds and think it's only casual gaming, which isn't a bad thing, but it really is for anyone. The extra features on the psp are impressive, but I have my ipod video and a phone to do all the extra stuff like movies, photos, etc. It's a gaming system and if the psp games aren't fun for me, then all the extra features mean nothing. Of course, if someone is really XHARDCOREXX with their games, and that's the ONLY kind they like, then I'm sure the psp is probably better for them. But for me, the DS games are fun and innovative. With the touch screen (and the ability to use buttons if I so choose), I feel like I have more freedom. Plus, you can't ignore that the DS is way more successful in sales. It's less pricey and to me, more entertaining. It took the DS and not the psp to get me into video games.

PSP i have both and the psp is much better. Better gameplay, better variety of games and overall much better. Store photos, videos and i just think the games are much better.
