Sims 3 late night instillation question?

hey just a quick question. i have got a laptop for christmas, i play the Sims 3 all the time on my computer downstairs but i was just wondering if at christmas when i get the Sims 3 Late Night, will i be able to install the late night expansion on both computer and my laptop? What would be the way to do it? I was maybe thinking on the computer downstairs installing late night and then installing Ambitions so then the late night disk will run on my laptop??? any help would be appreciated! thankyou!!
