Which is Better - Xbox 360 or PS3?
-
This is just a poll really. I want peoples views on both consoles to see how many prefer which console. I own both a 360 and Ps3 and from my own experience the Ps3 is better. Why? The 360 fail rate is colossal and I am on my third console. The hard disk space is terrible and a newer drive is expensive. No wireless network Receiver included and the cost a ridiculous price. Controllers do not come with Rechargeable batteries. Games are on low space DVD discs. Performance isn't great, playing mass effect while watching my characters get drawn in kind of sucks. Xbox gold is a useless addition for the cost. Ps3 has a low fail rate. Free online gaming Blu-Ray Dvd drive Internal wireless Receiver Games are on Blu-ray Controllers are Rechargeable and if the internal battery runs dry sony will replace it for free. All in all I think it is clear that Ps3 is the better console. The 360 isn't a terrible console it is just out-dated.

I was always a playstation fan. PS1 and PS2, getting then the day they came out. But i got an offer for a cheap Xbox 360, and i have changed sides. I don't like the PS3 as much. Tried to do too much and just kind of flopped. Plus the 360 has a smoother playing rate.
Here, the PS3 takes it, even though CNet thinks it looks like a George Foreman Grill, which I suppose it does from a certain angle. I can’t believe the Xbox 360’s controller is given top marks though because personally I find it a little too childish and gimmicky for my liking. Round 2 – Features PS3 = Blu-ray, WiFi, and Bluetooth. Xbox 360 = none of the above. A perfect score for the PS3, and rightly so, seeing as its feature set is probably the most rounded and fulfilling of that seen on any home console ever. Round 3 – Online The Xbox 360 takes this round comfortably thanks to the ease of using Xbox Live, and the new Netflix compatibility. However, I can’t understand the scoring really when PSN is free and isn’t as bad as CNet makes out. The judges clearly aren’t fans of Home but I’d personally rather have it than not have it. Round 4 – Graphics This round is a joke and for me, calls out the three judges as Xbox fanboys. On multi-platform games, the Xbox 360 apparently shades it – maybe, maybe not, but I think it’s too close to call either way. But platform exclusives? I’m sorry but the PS3 takes this crown by a mile. As stated, there is nothing that compares to Metal Gear Solid 4 or Killzone 2, so why the draw? Round 5 – Games Xbox 360 – Gears of War and Halo. PS3 – Metal Gear Solid 4 and LittleBigPlanet. Woah, hang on a moment, why those two games? Why not Killzone 2 or God of War 3? Or Heavy Rain and Uncharted 2? Talk about picking your games to suit your own needs, which in this case is clearly an Xbox 360 win. I concede the backwards compatibility point though – it sucks. Round 6 – Value For Money Apparently, being the best Blu-ray player on the market and having an astounding range of exclusive games either out or coming out soon doesn’t warrant an extra $100. Sure, the PS3 could do with a price cut but I’d still say it’s very good value for money even at its current price. The Result It’s official. According to CNet, the Xbox 360 is better than the Playstation 3. Don’t worry that the presenter and main judge is a douchebag, or that we never actually get to see the other two judges give their opinions (if they even exist). CNet has spoken, and the Xbox 360 rules over the PS3. There is clearly no argument to be had.
eriiiiii
Xbox 360. However good thing about PS3 is that it has a blue ray player. But for gaming Xbox 360 rules.

I had my fourth xbox die on me a while back, so I just picked up a PS3. I've had it for a couple weeks now and love it!

people have many opinions on the game consoles but mine runs for the xbox 360. i have had the 360 for sometime now and have never had a problem. the games on ps3 dont even need to be on blu ray because they are the same size as xbox games. the xbox may cost for additional features but the gaming experience is much better. ps3 may also have free online gaming but any true owner of both consoles would know that xbox has a unthinkable win here. xbox also has a faster game load rate which means less wait for when your playing on disc. i know people that own game stores and they dont even need or play there ps3 except when it comes to playing dvd's and a few games only for ps3. ps3 beats the xbox on features but when it comes to gaming your choice is xbox 360.

You just listed a few things that Fanboys list when they prove their PS3 is better than 360. I think everyone knows which side you have picked. :P No matter what else you do with a Console, its all about the games, so if they are great then you know which is best.
