Do I have to download all the GTA 4 patches for pc?

I have the crack for GTA 4 and when I download the 1.3 patch, the game says invalid resources and crashes. Without the patches the game runs fine. So do I have to download the patches prior to 1.3, or I just can't download the patch for the game? Thanks for any help or advice.

i think it's only 1.0.1 patch for cracked version also you need xlive wrapper
