Why do people in video game stores have to be such pricks?

  • when you walk in, its like you just walked into a club without bieng a member. cant i just play video games casually? am i wrong to buy a used video game, instead of a 50 dollar game, and then be treated as inferior? besides, that game is gonna go for 20 bucks in a few months anyway. stupid gamers. whats up with that?

    THATS MOST STORES THESE DAYS SAD TO SAY, IVE BEEN GOING TO THE SAME GAMESTOP FOR 5 YEARS,EVEN IF I PAY A FEW DOLLARS MORE FOR ITEMS I MAKE IT UP WITH LITTLE THINGS HERE AND THERE. I FIND IF YOU FIND A DECENT PLACE AND KEEP GOING BACK THEY WILL LOOK OUT FOR YOU WHEN PS2 CAME OUT I DIDNT RESERVE BUT GOT ONE THE FIRST SHIPMENT THEY HAD. BUT TO BE FAIR I HAVE BOUGHT OVER 3OO GAMES FROM THEM SO MAYBE THATS WHY,LOL NEW AND USED SHOP AROUND FIND THE STORE YOU LIKE AND DROP BY EVERY NOW AND AGAIN YOU DONT HAVE TO BE A GROUPIE BUT LET THEM SEE YA EVERYONCE IN A WHILE

well 1. theyre usually nice. 2. dont ever call a gamer stupid because the ones that play games to much kill people. 3. it matters what stores you buy games in.4. sometimes theyll be really snooty if youre like 12 or 13 becuse they are just like that but thats stupid because the majority of gamers is usually kids!

Most gamers have a sense of self-worth that is far beyond reality. But beyond that, the feelings you have are mostly in your mind. You are probably viewing yourself as an outsider and projecting that feeling onto the other people in the store. Now if someone actually said to you "you suck" in the store, that would be different. Just relax, buy your stuff, and get out like everyone else does.

Well sometimes its because they Think the non-used would be better. 2. sometimes if u pay more they get more paid. 3.Go to walmart they let u play anygame plus they have good prices. 3. Eb games is where u can buy used or non and they are always nice.

I haven't had that such problem. Best just to ignore them and buy what you want, it's your money and your opinion on video games.
