Which is better PS3 or Xbox 360? I've had two people say an xbox 360 is better and two people say PS3's are be?

This question is basically like asking "Whats the meaning of life?", everyone will have their own opinions, and you will never get an actual answer. I personally think the xbox is better, only because it is cheaper, and games tend to be cheaper too, and more of my friends have xbox 360s so it made more sense to get one of them.

My son loves Xbox 360 & they have improved & once you make sure the back of it is not close to the wall or a surface so the air can circulate it will be fine :)

honestly blu-rays won't take off as much as DVDs, what with streaming off the internet. I have always been used to the PS controllers, but after a few hours of playing with the xbox layout, i was pleasantly surprised, the layout fits better. Xbox Live is superior to PSN, zune movie streaming, sky player, great online multiplayer, access to great demos, i could go on forever. PS3 has not got alk the best games, all multi formats are cheaper on the xbox, and exclusives are better. Try Left 4 dead, then compare it to killzone, no offence to the great game that is killzone, but left 4 dead is my fave. The graphics are better by a strand of a hair on the ps3, not too much of a worry. One reputable member of the gaming world said xbox live was 12-18 months ahead of PSN, that is an understatement. BTW, facebook, last.fm, and movie streaming launched today. Mostly online services give the xbox it's cred. the xbox is cheaper as well. the lowest range PS3 is £250, and £160 on the xbox The xbox is not as well built in that it heats quickly and can crash, but that's because people do not manage heat levels. If offline multiplayer is your ideal, i would say 360. If online multiplayer is your piece of cake, and ur willing to pay a fee, get the xbox. if your willing to settle for a lesser online multiplayer service for free, get the ps3. If you find an exclusive (like left 4 dead or forza 3 or halo) that you want for either xbox or ps3, do not let that judge your decision. and if you play and interact with ur friends a lot, then get whatever is more popular. Obviously because of the xbox superior online capabilities, I support the xbox, before the 360 came out i was all playstation.

The 360 it's cheaper, the online gaming is better, the games are cheaper, the games are better and in my personal opinion i've had both and the Xbox 360 was better by far

At this point it's kind of even: 360 pros: A larger game library A better online service with more capabilities than PS3 360 cons: Red Rings of Death Online Play isn't free Unless you get a 360 Elite, the memory sucks. You have to go out and buy batteries for your wireless controllers PS3 pros: Not as expensive as it was at launch ($500-$600 at launch; $300 now) Online play IS FREE Wireless controllers are chargeable (is still a pain,but at least you don't have to spend money on batteries and leave your house whenever your controller dies) some better looking games than 360 better memory than 360 PS3 cons: SOME better looking games than 360 Online service is known for bugging out a lot more than xbox live Library isn't as good as 360. Personally I would still go for a 360 but it all depends on what you are willing to risk based on what I have listed here.

In my opinion it's the Xbox 360. Cheaper, just as good graphics(on a good tv), better games, better online play, i just love the xbox 360. I have played on the ps3 and of course it's amazing, if you want to spend more then go for it but there are little things that annoy me. For example, the ps3 controller hasnt changed at all since like the ps1, the X button on a racing game is GO! Whereas the clever 360 use the right trigger where you can ease on the power etc. The xbox is just my preffered console, you'll enjoy both a lot.

There is no right answer to this because it's a matter or opinion. Both are good. They share most of the best games like Call of Duty, but each has it's exclusives too. I like the 360 because it has the games I prefer like Gears of War and it also has Xbox Live which has about 4 times as many people as the Playstation Network. The PS3 is good too though. Look at what each ones has and decide what item are more appealing to you.

The 360 is better in for me and I have both (you should only listen to people who have both) although I use my Apple Mac for all my MSN needs. The 360 can Ring of Death at any time but just for its amount of better quality games it is much more enjoyable. The PS3 has BluRay, I already have a BluRay player so doesn't really bother me, as for the Live and games, it is just dwarfed by the Xbox, although if I were you I would listen out for any new info on updates to the 360 that may be coming along, perhaps another console or just a hardware update, for this reason I would get a cheap 360 with MW2 and just rip it apart for a few months. Sorry to all the PS3 fans but i feel I have wated my money on the PS3 and that is alot of money to be wasting.
