Is Guitar Rock Tour 2 worth it?

How do I fix HDTV Lag in Guitar Hero: World Tour/Rock Band 2?

  • I've been looking EVERYWHERE on how to fix this problem but it seems that there is no easy or simple solution to this annoying problem. I own both Rock Band 2 and Guitar Hero World Tour for the Nintendo Wii. They both play fine on my standard 19 inch in my room. They play fine on my sisters standard too, but when we take it into the living room and plug it into the HDTV down there, the lag just never seems to go away! i've read a lot of forums on this problem and none of them really help. I've tried the faulty lag calibration on both games with both guitar and drums. it's gotten close but never to a point to when the game is comfortable to play naturally. I use the normal red, white, yellow cord and it goes into my DVD/VCR combo which is connected to the HDTV. There's nothing else around that would interfere with the wireless guitars or drums. Can someone please help me out here? It'd be nice to have a family session on our big HDTV.

  • Answer:

It's never going to be perfect. For example, I know if I calibrate it one way, I can play along perfectly to the beat, although the visuals will be slightly behind. This works great, until you get to a solo, where the beat kinda gets thrown out the window, and you gotta play with your eyes.
