How to make a demo for video game?

How can i make a demo about my video game idea ?

• Alright i cant write or spell lol but picture speak better then words some times... I want to make a video about my game and i want to put all that , that game has story line ,game play, missions,weapons,maps u know evrythin is there a software that can help me do all that stuff

  Take a few years learning a program language, then a few more years learning graphic arts and maybe something like 3d studio max. I bet in under 10 years you'll have a nice demo on your hands. If that's too much then just take what you now. Maybe make a flash movie, draw some pictures with a cool soundtrack and tell the basic idea of your game. I used something called SWISH a long time back to make flash movies. Any Movie maker software will do if you don't want take the time to learn all of that (Sony Vegas comes to mind). You can also learn a good "level editor" - the one for Crysis comes to mind. You can do some pretty insane things in there, including importing your own models/art, adding voice, and making cutscenes and such. It will take a while to learn all the ins and outs but is probably the best option for a "fast track" to making a demo. Other options like the Crysis one - UDK - unreal development kit (you can google it, i believe i got it off steam when i was using it) There's also one from Valve called like.. Half Life Software Development Kit.. never used that one tho. edit: forgot there is also XNA (XNA creators club) http://create.msdn.com/en-US/ don't really have much experience in it but is an easy way to make game such as XBOX live arcade type games.
