Is it possible for me to save two game files on one Nintendo DS for Pokemon Platinum?

Hi, my sis has a DS with Pokemon Platinum. Shes started a saved game, and i decided i wanted to try to play too. However everytime i try to play, it says the only way i can save my game is if i overwrite her one..which is a no can do. is there a way i can play this game too? i remember my sis sayin somethin about multiple users for the ds, but i cant find tht either...can someone help me with this pls?? thnx!

No, no Pokemon game supports more than 1 save game file. You will have to erase your data or buy a new one.

I'm sorry to report that the Pokémon series runs on the "Law of One". LIMIT ONE TRAINER PER GAME PACK! The game saves so much data that it can only handle ONE save file. Therefore, if you & your sister want to play the game & save your progress... you'll both need your own copy. I know it's not the answer you want to hear, but it's the truth that you'll have to deal with.

All Pokemon games from Red/Blue through Platinum support only one file each. I think they did that to make each game more personal. You'll have to buy your own Platinum, or kill your sister's file. No one in my family plays Pokemon, so I've never had to share my game file. That's your only other option.
