Question for DS lite owners?

1) Animal Crossing DS Animal Crossing on the GameCube was one of those unexpected hits. Between the real-time seasons, the near endless gameplay, and the ability to share your town with friends, Animal Crossing was an extremely unique title. Now, Animal Crossing DS brings that same, open-ended gameplay to the portable universe, offering key additions like wireless multiplayer, so that you can visit a friend's town from anywhere in the world. View Screenshots 2) New Super Mario Brothers Mario 64 DS was a blast, but it wasn’t new. It also was a 3D version of a franchise made famous back when 2D was the rule. Now, Nintendo has agreed to bring a new 2D Mario title to the table. This announcement at the E3 Nintendo press conference was probably one of the most unexpected and most welcome of the show. For the first time, two players will be able to play simultaneously through the wireless DS. 3) Nintendogs Another one of those unique, open-ended titles, Nintendogs has made the DS over in Japan. This title has become a blockbuster hit, and Nintendo is bringing it to the West. More like a personal pet than an actual game, Nintendogs lets you take care of and play with virtual puppies that are incredibly realistic. This title may look simple, but it’s ready to absorb a great deal of your time. View Screenshots 4) Shogun Warrior: Real Time Conflict One of the first titles to take true advantage of the DS’s touch screen, Shogun Warrior is a real time strategy game set in the times of Japan’s feudal system. It makes the list primarily because of its potential, not so much because of any gameplay that we’ve actually seen. Using the touch screen to direct your troops, Shogun Warrior will be the system’s first foray into a genre unique among consoles to the DS. View Screenshots 5) Age of Empires: The Age of Kings The Age of Empires games have satisfied millions of fans on the PC over the years, allowing players to build their empires in a turn based universe. With the unique interface of the Nintendo DS, the franchise is now able to make the transition to the handheld and console market, using the touch screen and the wireless to offer Empires to a new generation of gamers. This title has potential, but it remains to be seen how well it will make the transition. 6) Mario Kart DS Mario Kart, originally introduced on the SuperNES, is well known for being easy to pick up and play regardless of how experienced you are with racing titles. The DS combines wireless gaming, using one cartridge, with the addictive gameplay of the proven franchise. At E3 this year, I almost won a little Mario toy by placing 1st in a race against 8 other people. I finished 2nd, instead. Mario Kart DS is going to be a killer application on the DS. View Screenshots 7) Metroid Prime Hunters If there’s one thing that every DS owner has played, it’s the Metroid Prime Hunters demo that came with the system. The title uses the stylus to steer Samus through Metroid filled levels, attempting to alleviate the DS’s lack of an analog stick and 8-way directional pad with an innovative trick of the touch screen. How well it works depends on who you ask, but regardless, Hunters is one of those AAA titles Nintendo is famous for. View Screenshots 8) Advance Wars: Dual Strike The original Advance Wars on the GBA were awesome games. The DS’s ability to handle complex user interface with the touch screen makes it perfect for this sort of title. We’ll see how the franchise transfers to the new system, but all they really have to do is add support for some satisfying online play, and the game will be a hit. Of all the strategy titles coming out on the DS, Advance Wars is the only one proven on a portable system. View Screenshots 9) The Sims 2 The Sims is the most popular game franchise of all time. It appeals equally to male and female players, has virtually never-ending gameplay, and an emergent A.I. that always surprises you. The sandbox approach to gaming – giving you tools without a goal – is hard to pull off, but surprisingly rewarding. Now that the Sims 2 is coming to the DS, the addiction becomes portable. This title will also be available on nearly every other platform, including the GBA and PSP. 10) Electroplankton There are some that claim that Electroplankton isn’t even really a game, and it’s hard to argue with them. Electroplankton doesn’t offer traditional gameplay, and is more a content and music creation tool than anything else. Nintendo brought a DJ to the stage during their E3 press conference to demonstrate the capacity of the system, and he used two systems simultaneously to create an amazingly complicated beat on the fly. I also got a DS Lite for my Birthday and I must say they're pretty good. I think Mario kart is a good game to get. I would also reccomend Metroid Prime Hunters if you like first person shooters. Holding the stylus and using it to control everything takes a while to get used to. The menu is good. YOu can pick your favorite color and the background is set to it. It has a clock, an alarm clock, and four different screen settings. Anyway, have fun with that!

it's a lot more fun to use then any game boy by quite a bit. the games are alright. however that NEW Super Mario Brothers game, is reallly bad. and Metroid Prime Hunters is alright i didnt find it too amazing.
