How can I cancel my xbox live gold membership?

    Not that I know of. Suggestions: 1) Call the Xbox Support line (1-800-4MY-XBOX in the states). They may be able to help. 2) If you're just trying to get a new Gamertag - you can change the one on your account for 800 Microsoft Points ($10). Doing it that way, you won't lose your friends list, your gamerscore, or your stats in games (like your Halo 3 rank, for example).
