What video game can you recommend I play on Xbox 360?

I'm bored and feel like buying and playing a video game but I'm also very indecisive so help me out? What new-ish game do you recommend that has really nice graphics, an interesting storyline and easy gameplay. I get frustrated easily and will give up if it's too hard so that last one is important. I like Japanese games like Final Fantasy 13 the best and also I like The Sims 3, Assassin's Creed Brotherhood um, so yeah, thanks in advance!

Get Mass Effect 1 & 2. From the moment the game starts you get the feeling that its going to be be very, very good. And trust me.. it is. What Mass Effect does is tell a story where almost your every action will subtly affect the ultimate conclusion. The story is really galaxy-spanning epic space opera stuff, and could very easily have come off as contrived, cliché or just plain pedestrian. This doesn't happen, thanks to some sterling voice work by a collection of talented actors; an excellent script with believable and interesting dialoguel and sympathetic, multifaceted characters, some of whom you'll find yourself (remarkably) caring about, others you'll find yourself (even more remarkably) hating, but none of them entirely predictable in any way. The whole package is far, far in excess of the cardboard characterization and inane scribblings found in many games. In addition to the main quest, there are a plethora of other characters scattered around the universe that you can really talk to, with side-quests a-plenty. At this point I should mention the dialogue system, because it is outstanding. During conversation, as you listen to an NPC, a dialogue wheel will appear at the bottom of the screen which lets you choose from a variety of responses. In every case you can choose to be diplomatic, adopt a neutral attitude, or spit out your words in an abrupt and ruthless fashion, with additional useful options becoming available depending on your Charm and Intimidate skill levels. In addition to this, pretty much every conversation will open up new topics in your Codex, giving a wealth of backstory and detail about the galactic civilization in which you find yourself. It's even possible to develop romantic attachments with some of the characters, which do play out surprisingly naturally - again, the mature, convincing dialogue is key. The end result is a remarkably fleshed-out and convincing universe. Despite all this potentially-crushing depth, however, I never felt myself getting bored, or hoping to get to the next firefight. I actually looked forward to the conversations, much more than I'd expected. Character development is admittedly fairly standard. As well as choosing a male or female character and customizing his/her appearance, you can choose from varying backstories which will all affect how people perceive you. In terms of class, you can choose from six archetypes - specialising in either combat, technology or biotics (the "magic user" class), and the three possible combinations of two classes. You fight battles, get loot, level up, distribute XP points between you and your party of three (you and two NPCs), and it's all a lot of fun. Unfortunately inventory management is a major pain, with only a list view available which is dreadfully tedious to navigate. The meat of the gameplay, as mentioned, is in conversation and plot/character development, but there's plenty of combat to satisfy the bloodthirsty among you. The game puts the emphasis on squad tactics and cover, and using the various powers you get through levelling up skills. These can be triggered manually for each character, or you can leave the party to its own devices and more or less rely on them to stay alive and help out until all the baddies are taken down. Weapons include pistols, shotguns, sniper rifles and assault rifles, and you as Commander Shepard can use grenades, but regrettably there's nothing to really differentiate the different variants, and I usually ended up simply equipping the party with the most damaging variant of each depending on specializations. I played on "Casual", as the story was what I was interested in, but on the higher difficulty levels it should be challenging enough. Listen, I could write for ages about this game. There are a ludicrous amount of things to do, people to chat to, baddies to shoot, star systems to visit, weapons and gear to buy and sell, landscapes to stare at in wonder, and galaxy-spanning intrigues and consipracies to discover and eliminate. If you'd like to experience a compelling and sometimes quite emotionally-involving sci-fi space opera, shot through with themes of racism, political intrigue, free will and humanity's struggle to find its place in a larger galactic community, and featuring a cast of interesting, varied and above all realistic characters, then go out right now and buy Mass Effect without any hesitation. Really. Do it right now. You'll thank me later.
