Fun games for your laptop on holiday?

Hey I'm staying in my country but going down south for my holiday, I want to take my laptop as it's too late to purchase this thing i wanted for my DSi (off the internet). So when it rains or when there's nothing to do, I want some singleplayer games for my laptop incase there's no WiFi. I already have Sims 2 in mind and want some other games, please don't suggest shooters as I won't be taking my mouse, and maybe not games with too good of graphics as it may lag on my laptop. I like strategy games, or just anything addictive. Thanks!
