What do you do in your spare time?

Do you have a hobby? What do you like to do in your spare time?

  • I have really no hobbies, barely any friends, so I never know what to do with myself. I do have a few close friends, but I can't hang out with them everyday, and I think it will be better because I'm getting my license on Tuesday!!! But I still feel like I need a hobby. Do you have a hobby? What do you like doing in your spare time? I'm looking for ideas.

    Well, those sound like decent hobbies to me, rollerblading and running. At least your doing SOMETHING. I like to play the piano in my free time. I still suck, and have only been playing for around a year, but I know if I keep up with it, over the next 10 or 15 years, one day I could be pretty good. I could play at Christmas parties and such. Try to find something that you might enjoy when you are older and don't feel like exercising constantly. Whether it be painting, reading a book, playing an instrument, or photography or something. Anything that sparks your interest.

There's really nothing wrong with sitting on the internet, as long as you are still accomplishing something. (playing solitaire for sixteen hours straight versus communicating and connecting with people around the world via social networks). I enjoy finding new people to communicate with, other than those who I went to school with, or work with, and comparing cultural issues. I also enjoy looking up topics which I do not know about, like political topics that they only mention on the news. (I probably should be spending more of my time exercising as you do. lol)

I have several hobbies. I like to take long walks, ride my bike, and hike. I also like hanging out by the local river. I'm really into nature and outdoors kind of stuff.

There's nothing wrong with physical exercise, but since that is not possible for me, I make jewelry and tool leather. Both are easy to learn, make great gifts, and are fairly inexpensive for a beginner to get into.
