What BB gun should I get?

How to convince my parents into letting me get a bb gun?

  • I all ready have 2 bb guns 1 rifle (power master 66) The other 15xt bb gun which is not working well. I am trying to convince them into letting me buy ( w/my own money) a ppk bb gun wich is weaker than all my guns. I`ve tried telling them it is a sport that i enjoy i just want to add more tools to it so i could enjoy the sport even more. I live in a area where i can shoot the gun but they keep on saying no!!! Got any advice on what good reasons to tell them. Note i am 13. I would apperciate it if anyone could help me.

    I don't think you are telling us the whole story. Aparently something has happened and that is why you are getting a no. You still have one so be satisfied with what you have and most of having parents who care for you.

Try making a deal with them. If you take a gun safety course as your part of the deal (which needs to be done if it hasn't already), then maybe they will let you get it. At any rate, you need to show them some sort of responsibilty. Grades maybe? I don't know, but something responsible!

You are too young for guns!!! So, give it up as well as your other guns and pay attention to you studies and your growing up without any problems. You will see later what I am saying. Take my advice!

Maybe you could tell them you hope to be a military sharp shooter one day or that you're hoping for the 2012 or 2016 Olympics. Keep practicing with what you have and maybe they'll see how good you are. I taught a youth riflery class at the YMCA, maybe you could try there to see what they use. I was a military expert myself, but only at targets, paper and pop up. It was fun.
