How to fold origami rose?

How to fold a simple 2-D origami rose/flower?

  • Please read carefully; I am not asking for a Kawasaki Rose or other directions for 3-D flowers. I would really like (clear) directions for a flower or rose that I can paste on a letter and send, 100% flat. Thank you very much!

  • Answer:

Thanks for the mention, Meenaksh! I do have a page about how to make flat paper flowers. All you need is some heart shapes - either punch them out or draw them and cut them out. Here's the page to tell you how to make a flat paper flower: http://www.papercraftcentral.com/how-to-make-paper-flowers.html The other ideas on the page are also easily left flat. You don't have to shape them into cups if you don't want to. The little rosebuds I make are a tiny bit more 3-d, but they lay pretty flat if you thoroughly glue them down: http://www.papercraftcentral.com/paper-roses.html I hope that helps!

you could try this site www.papercraftcentral.com Susan L has some great crafts in there. if you don't find what you are looking for, i'm starring your Q - she may see it & give you instructions herself. you can also try some of these links http://monkey.org/~aidan/origami/ www.folds.net/tutorial/models/ www.origami-instructions.com/orig... www.britishorigami.info/fun/ OH, and instead of 2-D paper rose, why not dry real rose petals/flower & send that in the letter - you could even sprinkle some rose attar on it ;-)) hope this helps
