Sounds like a great idea. I don't know what you both are interested in or what materials you might have, etc, but there are loads of crafts at Craftster.org with lessons, pics, etc, and you could shop around there to see what you or the two of you might be interested in: ...here are just a few examples from each board (in alphabetical order): http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php?action=bestof2008 ...but *all* main craft forums at Craftster will be listed down on the right on this page: http://www.craftster.org/forum/index.php (be sure and click on each board there to see all the sub-boards under it as well...I think there's even one specifically for Holidays or Christmas, etc) And here are some ideas for polymer clay (or some would work with air-dry clay like bread clay or salt dough clay or even paper pulp clay you can make at home): http://glassattic.com/polymer/Christmas.htm Have fun! You could also make ornaments or Christmas decorations or cards, etc, using almost any kinds of materials, from paper to clays to nature materials and really almost anything.
