How To Find Crochet Pattern?

Where can I find VERY EASY AND QUICK crochet pattern?

  • I just learned how to crochet. I know how to do just the basics and have never followed a pattern. My goal is to make a hat or booties for my nephew. I want to to practice following patterns by starting off with a clear pattern that shouldn't take too long. For example I DON'T want a blanket because that would take too long to complete and I only want this to be a practice. Please direct me to some website or just give me the pattern. If you have some important tips to help crochet a regular pattern that would be great!

Try crochet pattern central it has lots of free patterns you can print off. Bev's country cottage has lots of baby and toddler patterns as well. Other than that buy a copy of Crochet World magazine thats mostly how I taught myself and I am an advanced crocheter now.

I like to use www.lionbrandyarn.com www.ebay.com has lots of patterns on it. www.freepatterns.com www.crochetpatterncentral.com I am a fairly new crocheter as well and I have found all of these to be helpful. Also, at Joann Fabrics, I bought a DVD on how to crochet and it is fabulous. It is put out by Red Heart Yarn.

Look around this sight. This sight has lots of free patterns and much more information for you. There are how to tips and even a section to instruct you on specialty stitches. I have been crocheting for 23 out of my 32 years and this is my favorite sight for crochet. They have the best of the webs free patterns.
