How can I keep bears away from my tent?

Will varnish keep gummi bears from melting? gummi bear lamp??? 10 points best answer!!!?

• well me and my friend really liked the gummi bear lamp from icarly and i found the same exact lamp, gummi bears, and giant gummi bear. the only things i'm concerned about is: 1. burning down her room 2. the gummi bears melting or deteriorating i was wondering if varnish from the craft store would keep it from catching on fire? or would fire retardant spray work better? my mom says that they will still melt b/c gummi bears are all sugar. would they? they would have the fire retardant spray to keep them from igniting on fire. any answers would be helpful. i would use fake gummi bears but i really want it to be "authentic". if it doesn't work i was gonna buy some clear resin and make or buy a mold of a gummi bear. i know resin is used for a lot of things like jewelry so i *think* it might not set a fire. Answers would be great!!! :)
