one place that has patterns for knit hats is About.com:knitting. They had several hat pattens that would be similar. The ones in the pictures looks like a simple k2, p2 ribbing for the whole body of the hat, decreasing once you get the length you want. They also look like they are made extra large to be 'slouchy'.
