I used to live in michigan and during the fall season there would be so much to do, like cider mills, raking up leaves, and now i live in florida and it seems like there is nothing festive here to do. its getting coller outside an i want to find some fun ideas for things to do to get festive and in the mood for the fall

    I live in Southern California so I can relate.... We take some trips to the nearby mountains and collect pine cones for the holidays and visit an area where you can pick your own apples, cherries and pumpkins. We dig out our old recipes and make some hearty soups, a nice change from the lighter summer meals. We start planning for holiday meals and decide how we will spend Thanksgiving and Christmas.... We plant some new flowers around the house and this year added an avocado tree... This is one of our favorite times of year....

In Florida you really don't have true Fall, I grew up there. Winter same thing, depending on where in Florida you live, you won't have much of a winter either... I went swimming on Christmas in our pool. For Fall things to do check the newspaper (usually on Friday) for a list of activities in the area. If that doesn't help ask your local library, they claim to know everything.... lol.
