Where can i find string for friendship bracelets?

you can go to Joann Fabrics or Micheals to find embroidary floss. it is usually located by the yarn and knitting stuff. you can buy the string in bulk packs or individual strands. the packs usually range from 3 to 16 dollars

Traditional friendship bracelets are made with embroidery floss, the same kind you use for cross stitch. Most craft stores carry the DMC brand with over 300 colors to choose from, which you buy individually in most cases. Or you can also look for "craft thread" which is usually sold in packs of a rainbow of colors. This is usually cheaper per skein, but it's lower quality and you get less color selection. JoAnne's Fabrics sells DMC floss, Michael's sells both the DMC and craft packs, and so does AC Moore (I don't think this is a national chain, so you might not know that name.) Wal-mart carries some of the DMC at some of its stores and probably has the craft packs.
