What would be some interesting/cute things to knit?

Im trying to knit a scarf, please help me with yarn length and other relating things:)?

    Red Heart is my favorite brand of yarn primarily because it is the only brand with which I have never had "surprises." Other brands may stretch or shrink a little when washed, even though they are rated machine washable. Red Heart stays true to its original size just fine. Red Heart has several different styles of yarn, so pick any one you like. 2 skeins of their Super Saver yarn should make a fun scarf. Check the wrapper on the yarn for needle size.
