Where can I find plain brown paper wrapping paper?

  • I want to use plain brown paper for some gifts and decorate them with bows and what not, however I can't find any local stores. i really don't want to shop online this close to christmas.

    I have purchased it at the UPS store, Walmart and DollarTree. Another option if you are having trouble finding it locally is to contact your local newspaper. They usually sell roll ends. Roll ends are a vanilla color, not brown however but you could still easily decorate it yourself and the roll ends are really cheap!

Try a stationers like WH Smith (in UK), or Woolworths, or better still an office stationers like Rymans or Staples. Some Post Offices also sell brown paper in little packs.

I've found it at Wal-Mart and Target. If the gift is small enough you can cut up and use a paper bag from the grocery store.

If you can't at UPS or similar places, then try a craft store. If that fails a brown paper bag from the grocery store is free.
