I want to know how to make a cardboard/paper katana without using many tools.?
-
If anybody might be able to help, I just want to know how to make a cardboard katana without using many tools. I have seen some tutorials, but most of them either take a lot of time or use many tools and complicated methods. If you know how to make one, or know a tutorial on how to make one, I would really appreciate it if you could tell me.

Answer:
Depending on the level of detail you want, you shouldn't need more than a knife or single-edge razor. Draw the profile of the blade and handle on a piece of corrugated cardboard - I'd use two layers glued together. The tsuba would another double-layer of cardboard, pierced to fit the blade. Lastly, wrap paper or cardboard to form the tsuka. A few coats of paint - maybe using aluminum wrap for the blade will finish it off.
