I want to order custom pins. Can I order them without buying in bulk?

  • I love collecting pins. I also enjoy making some of my own. However, I really want some personalized metal pins that I know would be impossible for me to make. I have found numerous websites for customized pins, but there is a problem. You see, for ordering pins, I would have to at least order 100 pins, which would be WAY too many. I am really looking for only a few custom pins, all different from each other. So my question is, can these companies produce a custom amount of pins (instead of like a fixed amount of 100 or 200 pins per order)? If not, then why?

It's not worth their while is why. They need to make a model and the time and labour cost is what they give you in unit sizes so a small company will need to produce around 200 pins to make the effort worth the cost. Your only chance really is to make the pins yourself. It's not really difficult as you can have the model made for you and you just need to stick it to the pin yourself.
