What kind of glue do I use for bubble charm jewelry?

When making beaded jewelry, can you use natural water based nail polish instead of regular nail polish?

• Hi, So for all of you crafty people, you know how when you make a beaded necklace or bracelet with beading cord and needle you tie the starting piece of cord to the clasp/closure and then you dab the knot with a drop of clear nail polish to seal it? Will a natural water based nail polish work and have the same effect or do you have to use the regular nail polish with the chemicals and stuff? P.S. I already know about beading glue, but I hate that stuff and the nail polish works great but I have a client who I am making a piece for and I am using only natural wooden and natural untreateated semi-precious stones and a natural beading cord and I told her about my method and she kind of freaked out over not wanting nail polish on her neck. I do prefer to use the nail polish method as it works better (in my own opinion and experience) than just tying it off and leaving it alone. That's why I need to know if there is a "natural" alternative sealant I can use. Some brands I have considdered are honey bee gardens suncoat piggy paint go natural Let me know if any of you use any of these polishes for the nail polish method and if it works. I don't want to waste my money on it and find that it doesn't work, so I'm looking for someone who has tried it or uses it... Thanks in advance!

  My cousin is into the beaded jewelry and I do know she has used or still uses the clear water base polish or maybe she still does. I know she used for temporary style because it does become brittle and break away. I personally think the gel would would work better especially if it is for personal use.
