Something to do over the summer holidays?

Can anyone siggest any projects that I could do for my 11 week summer holidays?

I have an 11 week summer holidays coming up in early June and I thought I might get a bit bored so I need something to do. I would like to do a project of some sort that would last a good deal of time and I could keep coming back to it, one that is fairly cheap and is either constructive or requires thinking (or both). I am only taking suggestions at the moment but anything will be appreciated.
