Where to buy card stock paper?

Where can I find Christmas card stock? By this I mean the paper a Greeting Card is printed on.?

  • I have found some a couple of years ago, but I am looking for more now. Basically what this is, is letter size heavy weight paper, with a Christmas or Holiday Scene printed on one half of one side. Then the paper is lightly scored in the middle for easy folding. The allows me to place the card (as a full sheet of paper) in my printer and print my own Christmas message on the "back side" of the card. This backside would turn out to be the inside of the card when folded properly. Also when folded in half properly, the holiday scene is on the front, thereby giving me a Christmas card to send out. I really hope you can help.

  • Answer:

I love the most excellent selection at Office Depot! They even have the golden lined envelope...or silver or those little snowflakes. Much Happiness this holiday season. Stephanie

Contact your local printer. if he cant help, check the yellow pages for "wholesale paper distributors". this type of paper is very common in the printing industry!

Hey Mike, Try Alibaba.com. they have all kinds of items from China and have people listed as manufactures and distributors etc. Most of their clients are distributors and wholesalers just so you know.

With all of the wonderful technology on-line, there must be a million ways of being creative using FREE software and a color printer and plain old fashioned card stock or heavy weight paper from an office supply store or even a department store in stationery. This is the year of the home computer made Christmas cards so why not be creative and purchase some recycled or home made look heavy paper and use black and white grabbing an old forties or fifties snap shot on-line and perk em up with a touch of ribbon, twig, pic of yourself or even nothing. The rough edged look is best for nostalgia. Personally, I was too lazy to open my box of cards from two years ago. Oh well, I'll do good to go on-line and send gift certificates if I think of it. Hope to see how they turn out! Maybe I'll be inspired!

The Wal-Mart in my town has exactly what you are asking about. In fact I have 3 or 4 packages in my office now. if your local Wal-Mart doesnt have them, try Wal-mart online. I went and got them...the brand is AMPAD. The website is: www.ampad.com the item # is 19949 and # 19947. They also have matching paper, so if you want to write a family letter to the recipients of your cards. The item # to that is 19917

You can buy plain card stock at Wal-Mart or most office supply stores. I'm not sure about the printed ones. Good idea you have. I have also seen some in the past at Big Lots store.

Try Office Maxx I get that type of paper there.. next best bet try Kinkos but they will be expensive.
