Benefit Auction Ideas that are easy to make or just ideas in general?

My Uncle passed away so we are trying to help my aunt bring in some money to help take care of a few bills until she can get back on her feet. We are holding a Benefit Auction the first weekend in June so I don't have a great deal of time. I am looking for some ideas for things I can make to auction off or any ideas really. Any & all ideas are greatly appreciated! Thank you so much for taking the time to help us!

How about asking local businesses and resturants, shops, etc to donate a gift certificate or card? Or have a drop off spot where, for like a week, people can drop off their donated items, baked goods, etc?
