Unique useful craft project for girls?

I'll second the site called Craftsters. The site covers a *huge* range of different crafts, which are simple to more complex, and most of the members are teens and young women. I just put a post up on my blog about making tissue paper puffs. They are crazy cheap to make, and they are really cute decorations! If you want an ongoing craft to do for fun you can also start a visual journal, which is like a journal/collage/scrapbook. make flowers out of tissue paper, make purses, wallets, vases, shoes, phone covers, ect out of duck tape, ect.. A unique thing you can do is buy printed paper that has different designs on it and put them in frames and hang them up in your room.
