Can I make homemade paper without a blender?

I want to make seeded paper to make wedding favours- how do I do it?

• I have decided to make seeded paper wedding favours (seeded paper cut into shapes). Now how do I make seeded paper? I want to use herb seeds, if that makes a difference at all... I need to make about 120 favours, and want to keep the cost minimal. I have heard paper making isn't too expensive, so I want to give it a shot, anyways. What supplies will I need, and can you give me the steps I need to follow to make a LOT of the seeded paper? I know you can use recycled paper/newsprint, and you need some screening... what else am I going to need?? Also do you have suggestions of what shapes I can cut them into? I want them to be about the size of a deck of cards... thanks!

  I use candy molds in the shape of flowers. I collect old paper and soak it overnight in a bucket of water, then separate the colors, tear into small pieces and blend it with more water. Newsprint makes gray favors so you might want to spend some time collecting colored fliers and old crepe paper streamers. For pure white, save parts of pages that don't have any printing on them, and things like the dots that are leftover from hole punching. When you blend your paper, It should have the consistency of thin cream of wheat. Strain it through a wire strainer, peel it off the wire and press into the molds. Push out as much water as you can. Press in some seeds and let it dry for 20 minutes, then pop out of the molds to finish drying. If you have a daisy mold, put yellow in the center and make the petals white, Combine handfuls of paper during the molding process to make a swirly effect. Experiment! A bucket of paper will make dozens of favors. Try to keep reusing the water over and over. .
