How to create an Egg Drop project using these materials?

  • How to create an Egg Drop project using these materials? Plastic drinking straws, 10 oz. empty soup can, cardboard tubing from rolls of toliet paper and paper towels, panty house, glue, any kind of tape, any kind of glue.

    I would put the egg in the paper towel rolls, and put straws through the paper towel roll, and have the egg sit on top of the straw, and put another straw right above the egg, I don't know what to do with the rest, but maybe put the paper towel roll in the soup can, cut it down to fit, and put panty hose around the whole can, I am not sure it will work, but worth a try.

i love it when people ask for the complete answers to their projects/essay...........if you'd like my advice i suggest you boil the egg (yes that is cheating, but so is asking other people for the answer), anyways after you boil it just chuck the whole thing over the side, it should be fine.

Make a small box of flavored gelatin using 1/2 c less cold water than suggested. When the gelatin has begun to set up to egg white consistency fill your soup can up halfway, put your egg in and finish filling the can with gelatin. Let it set up fully overnight and tape the lid of the can back on with duct tape. We did this with one of my grandchildren a few years ago and she won.
