How do you make a jersey for a teddy bear?

• long story short, for a school project i have to make a jersey for this small teddy bear and it has to have writing on it...how do i make this? any tips? i dont wanna simply write on fabric with a sharpy, i want it to look nice

Get an old t-shirt of a colour of your choice. 2. Measure around the bear's neck, arms, and tummy, then add a 3 cm to the measurements. 3. Draw a shape of a small t-shirt on the shirt that you chose (make the neck, arm and hem half the length of the measurements you took eg. neck=5cm+3cm=8cm, half that 4cm) 4. Cut out this shape and trace it onto another part of the shirt and cut that out 5. Lay the two shapes on top of each other with the part you want outside facing inside 6. Sew around the edges (Don't sew around the neck and arm holes) 7. Turn it inside out Ta-daa! And you now have a jersey for your teddy bear! Hope I helped! Good luck on your project!
