What do I put in the baby scrapbook for my friend?

When I've made baby scrapbooks for friends, I do as baby's first year, but also do the birth and first birthday. I start with the month of the baby's birth. So for your friend you would start with June. June- baby's birth and daddy and baby July -4th of July, All American Baby August, summer theme September-Grandparent's Day is in Sept. you can go with that as a theme October- Halloween November- Thanksgiving December- Christmas/Hanukkah/etc Januarary-snow baby! Feburary- Valentine's Day March- Easter April-Spring Thing May-Mother's day, mommy and baby June-first birthday and father's day! I do one page as the calendar with the month and the blank calendar boxes and the opposite page is the title and places for them to put the baby's photos for that month. For the ones of the birth, I just put blank areas of 4x6 size where they know to put the pictures, same with the b'day. You can also do the first page as a dedication page to your friends and their baby and why you made it, wishing them well, and just write from your heart and sign your name and then add some layouts inside. You don't have to do all the months like I did, you can just do a few themes or pick a few pages to put in, I'm sure whatever you do she's going to love! One thing, be sure to include acid free adhesive and an acid free pen when giving the album, that's the one thing that everyone wanted to keep up with when adding pictures to the album. They wanted to make sure everything going in was acid free like everything I did for them.

I make baby scrapbooks for all my friends. I do a page about their zodiac sign, getting information from the Internet and using clip art and stickers. I also make a crossword puzzle at puzzlemaker.com about the baby, usually after the birth. clues would include: mom's name, Dr. name, hospital, siblings, zodiac sign, street name, color of "baby's" house, etc. Then I print out the crossword and fill in the answers with colorful pens. I've also done a page about the origin of the child's name from baby name web sites and also from the parents' accounts of how they chose the name. Depending on the child's name, I've done a front page with synonyms for the name, for example Grace or Hope. For boys I've done other versions of the name: John, Jack, Sean, Jeane, etc. On all of these pages I leave space for photos to be added. These are just the first 2-5 pages of the scrapbook. Then I include embellishments and paper as part of the gift. I hope this helps!

how about poems about creating life (having a baby)? quotes or funny poems or stories about being a mother. ..never made one..never got one.. I didn't know that someone other than the mother could make one..lol
