How To Make Crochet Rings?

Do you know what this crochet pattern is called?

• My mom used to make this beautiful layette/baby afghan, but now we can't find her pattern! It was a bunch of little crocheted rings (about 120) that were attached to each other like a paper chain. Then you would crochet the afghan to the rings. It also came with a pattern for a sweater (2 different sizes) and booties. If you know what this pattern is called and/or the manufacturer, you would truely make my week.

  I finally found it - it is called Baby Rings and was from a pattern by Annie's Attic #2688 - which is no longer published. There is an electronic version out there at: http://anacuadriello.multiply.com/photos/album/30 you have to do the slideshow or go to the bottom of the page - it is almost the last thing. They want you to become a paying member to really get to this - but if you save each image or create a .pdf from each image if you have that kind of software - like Nitro pdf maker - you can create a reasonable looking set of directions.
