Can I make homemade paper without a blender?

How to make paper....?

  • I'm 14 and I have a ton of old paper and I thought it would be cool to make paper with it.. rather than just throwing it away. I know you have to rip up the paper and put it in the blender with water and blend it up. But is it okay to use my blender that I use everyday? Thanks!

  • Answer:

I done this before in my art class, you get a load of newspapers or what ever paper you want to use, crush it all down with water or just put it in a blender, then lay it all out flat on a flat surface and place a flat lid over it, make sure it is really flat, press down, then wait for about 45 minutes, get a hair dryer, and dry it firmly and close till there are no wet marks. Hope this helps!

Follow the other's directions but yes as long as you wash out your blender before you use it next it won't hurt it or you.
