How do you make a face mask?

How can I make a Kaonashi (no face) mask from Spirited Away?

• I've wanted to go to Anime North for quite some time now >.< but I never had a chance to go... due to my laziness and lack of money I never manage to make a costume... that's why I don't go ha ha. Anyway, for anime north 2011, i'm definitely going because I finally got a job, so I can pay for myself to get in and buy lovely things, also to pay for supplies to make a costume.   This is going to sound crazy, but the cheapest, fastest way to make a mask would be to start with an oval Chinet paper platter. Turning it over, you would simply draw and paint in the needed features. Place the mask over your face to figure out where you need to put eye holes (they may not actually be where the eyes of the mask are). You put holes just big enough for you to see through. Punch two holes on either side of the platter and insert a stretchable elastic cord (you can buy this at craft or fabric stores where the sewing notions would be). To complete your costume, get a black cape, or even several yards of black fabric to drape around yourself.
