Does anyone know how to make homemade scratch tickets?

Im making some scratch tickets for my friends Stag and Doe, I found a craft section on the internet that says to mix metallic paint with dish soap (for the scratch are) I have tried this but it is very watery and is see through even though I have put 10 coats on, I have also tried different amounts of each to thicken it up! I just found out today that you can buy the Scratch Stickers, but I need to finish these by tomorrow so its too late to order them in :( Any help would be appreciated!!
