What are some good beginners photography books?

Beginners Sewing books and websites?

• Alright so I am wanting to start up a Craft of some sorts; and I recently had gotten and Idea that I may enjoy Sewing; but I need some help on what I should get. I am a VERY new at sewing and honestly know nothing about it. I guess I would like some help on what are so good beginners sewing machines? What are some supplies that I will need to start off? As of now I only plan on starting with Pillows and pillow cases; I as well wanted to try and make Pet beds (but couldn't find any books on pet related Sewing things) So yes. If I could be linked to some good Pillow, pet and Beginners Sewing books that would be outstanding. I am looking to make the pet beds with the fluffy type walls on the side so my cat can curl down into it :) So any websites on these or books would be nice. As well. Anyone with any tips, tricks or general advice would be great as I have to start somewhere. Someone had told me when starting out it's easier to sew by hand; but I'm not entirely sure.

Polarfleece is one of the most attractive fabrics for cats -- and it collects cat hair well, so it's a good choice for a lot of products. I really feel most beginners are better served with some lessons to start with. There's just so much going on at first that having someone to guide you through some basic projects and learning to use your machine greatly decreases your frustration level.
