What things can you knit in under 30 minutes?

  • I love knitting, but I don't really have time to do really big stuff. So.. to all you proffesional knitters, what things can you knit in under 30 minutes that would be quick and easy? For example, in some book, I saw how to make a lovely little bookmark in around 10 or 20 minutes. Any ideas? I'd also appreciate it if you told me how to do it ;) because I really have just begun and the most I have done so far are scarves and things hehe. So..?

    About the only thing I've been able to knit in under 30 minutes is a knitted dishcloth, but when I was younger I used to have a small nifty knitter for making Barbie clothes, which were also quick and easy to make.

I've been knitting for more than 30 years and still can't complete a project in less than 30 minutes. Big stuff doesn't have to be done in one sitting. If you only have 30 minutes or so a day to knit you can knit a few rows of a larger project. When I knit a sweater or afghan it takes me 4-6 weeks to complete and that is working 2-3 hours a day on it.
