Ideas for a gnarly blanket fort?

Colour ideas/stitching ideas for blanket?

• One of my best friends is Tinkerbell crazy so for the last few months I've been stitching some Tinkerbell patterns for her and I'm going to make them into a blanket. I'm not sure what kind of colours to use that will go well (obviously I know green, but I don't really like the idea of a green blanket) She's kind of a rock chick so I thought maybe pink and black would that go okay with Tinkerbell's colours? I've stuck completely to the colour of Tinkerbell. Another problem I have is that I'm okay at making the blanket but I have no idea how I could lay out the pictures or which kind of stitch work to do (Patchwork etc), any creative ideas please?   Depending on the color of green I would not use it either. The first link I checked on was what I had thought about. Notice the color of her dress. Now mint green is not a bad color to use. I tried to look at the link and no success. Were you planning to use the pink and black to weave the pictures together? I don't know how you planned to do it [send me an email with the info on this} but you; could get the fingering yarn in mint green and a complementary color in the same yarn and make the weaving using both colors at the same time. Not being able to get to the picture you gave us I have no idea at this time to help with the laying out of the pictures. Below is a link showing a few of the hand stitches you can use.
