Is kevin trudeau a scam?

Is Kevin Trudeau, the author of 'Natural Cures they don't want you to know about', a scam artist?

  • I saw part of an infomercial with Trudeau. He claims that he knows natural remedies for many illnesses, from depression to cancer, which he has apparently listed in one of his books. But can this man be trusted? I have high blood pressure, for example, among other things. I went to look at the natural remedy in one of his books, and it said things such as the following: 1. Raw extra virgin coconut oil 2. Flax and flax seed oil 3. Vitamin E 4. Natural sunlight And so forth. Is this a bunch of baloney, or is it accurate? How can I know that this man can be trusted? Has anyone read his books, or does anyone have hardcore, factual information about his claims?

  • Answer:

Like many alternative medicine advocates, Trudeau has many valid points hidden underneath a lot of bull sh*t. He takes very useful recommendations and buries them in a huge conspiracy theory. From what I have been able to determine, he basically entices you with potentially wonderful cures, but, hey, you have to sign up for his website to learn the details because "Big Brother" government is trying to keep the truth from you. What I would say to you is take the recommendations he makes with a grain of salt. Give them a try if you have the financial wherewithal to do it, but realize it is an experiment. What works for some people MIGHT NOT WORK FOR YOU. It's a "buyer beware" situation. Learn the pros and cons and make your decision based on that information.

i bought his book. I know very much about nutrition from studying for 40 years. In my opinion his book is a load of bullshit. A 3 year old can write a more factual nutriotional book. Second he does not make refunds no matter how much you try. Third he is in hot water not only with the FDA but with the FTC and other government agencies because of his shady dealings. Read about his past go to Findarticles.com website and key in his name

Do a google search on his name along with the words "fraud" and "conviction". He's a con artist who uses his book to get peopel to subscribe to a website for more money than I've ever seen asked for at ANY health related site. And he used put a review of his own books at amazon.com using a known alias!

My mom is really into this kind of stuff, especially this guy in particular. I personally don't believe anybody that does infomercials but that's just me lol. From what I've seen he also charges a pretty good amount of money, especially on his website, etc. If he was trying to genuinely help people, in my opinion, it would be more about helping and less about making money. Sure he has to make a living, but you don't do informercials and overcharge for information if you aren't trying to get rich. On top of that, it seems like "natural, organic, blah" has gotten popular quite fast which makes it seem like it's just a fad, a part of pop culture, the new thing to rush out and buy into because everyone's doing it. I know it isn't a new thing, but it's popularity is. So of course that's just my take on it, and really I think the only way to know what works for you is to try it! Although, I wouldn't go out and spend a bunch of money on it.

My answer is that unless these claims have been verified by the Food and Drug Administration, the chances are very low that they'll work. Your best bet is to see a doctor about your high blood pressure and follow his or her directions.

Total scam artist. Absolutely NOTHING to his "natural cures". None of them have any validity. And the gullible folks that follow him? Two words: PLACEBO EFFECT!!

There are many natural products that can lower the blood pressure. They all work the same way by providing your body with the proper nutrients, so the organs can function properly. Whether they work or not depends on how your body reacts to them. The information he provides can be trusted. The only thing he has a problem with is his business practices. The FDA is not god and even though they are runned by the government it is still a business. That is why they test and approve medications, cause they make big money from the drug companies to get medications approved. They can not do that with herbal and natural supplements cause they can be found almost everywhere, since they are from the earth. The trick is finding a good company that has a good product and find the right on that works for you.

This man CAN be trusted. I have both books and they are fantastic. My taking a simple digestive enzyme, I no longer have a "acid reflux" problem. I am taking "acai" and I do feel a lot better.
