What is the strongest form of ADD medication?

Medication Side Effects Help? "VyVanse"?

  • I just recently started taking a new Medication (as in 3 days ago, Thursday Jan. 6Th,2012) called "VyVanse" and i don't really have any necessarily bad side effects. except for maybe 1, 2 or 3 things witch arent official side effects. 1 effect is i`m 10x more social and talkative, i was already popular at my school, and naturally more extroverted than introverted, so i guess being social is good for when i`m in a class and confused, i am alot more motivated to talk and ask alot of questions, ya know? but another effect on me is that im a little more hyper, i was diagnosed with ADHD in 2007, and they said it was a form of Type 2 ADHD, and that i did not have any form of hyperactivity along with my ADHD (Yea, Idk why im not diagnosed with ADD, but doctors say it`s still technically ADHD) . But ever since i started taking "Vyvanse" these past few days, along with the Need and Urge to talk almost 24/7, i am also very Jittery, like i can stop moving my foot up and down, i just feel the need i have to, just like talking.and another thing is, ever since i started taking it, i cant stop biting my lips. PLUS: i haven't even noticed a relatively small difference in my focus, except for the fact i am more Prone to ask questions a lot in class, and learning better by that. but my reason for this questions is because my family has to be around me all the time when i cant stop talking. i like talking now, haha, but i fear i annoy them. :[ so if you currently, or Have before Taken "VyVanse" For ADD or ADHD, are there any side effects in this question you experienced? and any tips on how to control them? like the talking? how to control the little things like biting my lips, tapping my foot? anything is appreciated greatly. Thank you! *Note* I`m 14, so is that why i am more likely to be more in motion, and active because i have more energy than say a 50 Year old man who takes it? Thanks in Advance, Ninja Warz

  • Answer:

Hyperactivity is actually the result of taking psychostimulants if you don't actually need them. If you needed to take Vyvanse, it would calm you down. Doesn't sound like you have ADHD.
