    Using medical terminology - or being familiar with it - is beneficial in interpreting physicians notes when trying to interpret superbills or other notes from a patient visit. Medical coding probably requires a more thorough knowledge of medical terms because you have to code based on the doctors notes. Assigning the ICD diagnosis and CPT treatment codes require a good knowledge of medical terminology. Hope this helps.

Sometimes it's better not to ask too many questions, especially when government is involved. Because a lot of lawyers are getting involved in governments, and logic is not their strongest topic. Luckily there are not too many doctors in goverment too, because of the same reason. Well they are good friends, but things could get worse. Well there is a good reason, it's called money, . Apart from that, no benefits, at least not for you.. I hope that makes things clear.
