Healing a cauterization burn?
-
Ok I had a cyst on the shaft of my penis, went to doctor and he used an electro-cauterization tool to burn it off. he gave me bactroban previously to this (much like neosporin, an anti-bacterial cream) and said to keep applying that. But is there anything else I can do to make sure it heals properly? i dont care how long it takes i just want to avoid infection. Ive heard cleaning it with warm water with salt added can help. any suggestions? thanks in advance :)

Answer:
Just washing with soap and applying the bactroban as the doctor suggested should be enough. Salt in on a burn or wound might burn; I would avoid salt water.
