What is the best anti diarrhea medicine that works fast?

  • I get really bad diarrhea during big events that I am nervous about, which, as you can imagine, is really inconvenient. Along with the diarrhea I get bad gas and stomach pains. Which medicine is the best to help with this problem, and should I take it before I get diarrhea but when I know I will get it later that day? or should I take it once the diarrhea starts?
