Has anyone tried 100% Aloe Vera Juice for digestive issues and did it work?

Yes, Aloe Vera is a good remedy for constipation. As a juice, it doesnt need to taste so bitter like natural, boiled with lemon juice and sugar cane juice ... like here in SEA. I think Aloe Vera is generally a healthy plant, used since thousands of years in any kind of preparation. Just our times are too fast and it is easier to pop in some pills than to prepare a natural juice.

I actually saw this Asian woman drinking that yesterday at my college. She told me she got it at an Asian specialty store. Maybe you can try it there. Might be tons cheaper.

My mom drinks it and swears by it... my gf tried it once and said it helped her with an upset stomach. She emptied the last of a big bottle into a little water bottle and left it in the fridge unmarked, I accidentally drank some and after a big gulp spit the nasty stuff out... I was grossed out but my stomach didn't hurt.

actually u can prob get aloe vera drinks at those asian supermarkets or they sell some at convience stores. they aren't that expensive they are like 1.99 each. and i like it, it tastes good (Y)

I suggest a juicer of some sort and fresh Aloe Vera. Store bought Aloe Vera tastes salty and not so good. Many asian stores if you have in your area sell large leaves of aloe vera cheaply about $2-4 each. Fresh is even better and will see the true results to your stomach. Remember 100% processed aloe vera juice is not suggested for internal unless fresh in my opinion. As the plant is alive and the benefits the Indians saw was from freshly picked. I suggest possible digestive Issues for you to go with Physlum Husks as they cured my problems the Dr.s couldnt. If it is acid reflux then I suggest you do research as many vegetables are no allowed and some fruits. The question is does store bought Aloe Vera work, I tried and stopped before I could ever see the results because it was gross and no short term results. Never tried fresh though, as I ended up changing diet with research of proper foods to eat and not to eat based on my symptoms. Remember Dr.s are helpful but they are not you and dont know your illnesses as you do. One more thing I fixed my self as of being bed ridden of 3 months with Dr.s Care then next 3 months I tried colon cleanse that helped alittle. But after more research I just needed more fiber and Physilum Husks were the Winner. Now I am no loner is pain and no more blood from stools plus hemmoroids and I can sit longer than a half hour. Yes your problems could be different but Aloe Vera can help if fresh but continue your research and eventually you will find your cure. Aloe vera does wonders no doubt about that.... i have aloe vera plant at home....i usually crack open a leaf and apply the sticky and slimy juice that comes out from it on my face for an hour or two daily...it makes your skin glow and very clean... aloe vera juice is very good for digestive issues....you can get it in an asian store for a much cheaper price... for ANY digestive issue, nothing can beat wheat husk, for centuries people have been using it in asian countries and by alot of pakistanis too...i can guarantee it will improve your digestive system very quick...i buy it from an indian or pakistani store or i usually get a stock when i travel out...if u go into the store ask for wheat husk or "ISPAGHOL" thats the traditional name...in a cup of warm milk add 2 tablespoons of it u can add sugar if you want to and drink it first thing in the morning and last thing before you go to bed...2 days and u will be fine...i have made it part of my lifestyle ive been having it daily for 2-3 years now and i havent had a single digestive problem it works better than aloe vera... if u cant find it write to me at [email protected] i am sure i will be able to locate a store close to your place coz i have alot of friends that deal with indian groceries..

I also heard of drinking Aloe Vera, but with honey and lemon. I thought the person was crazy or I just didn't understand their Spanish. Never heard of the juice but I'm curious now.
