How can I cure chronic dehydration?

How do you cure Chronic Dehydration when you already drink enough water?

  • It was confirmed for me by medical testing that I am dehydrated, just as I had suspected...and this means I've been dehydrated for 8 years now. I already drink plenty of water - I drink between 8 and 12 pints of bottled water daily (only bottled water as of the last few months, but prior to that I drank bottled water, tap water and filtered tap water - the kind of water makes no difference) So how else can you hydrate yourself? I'm also sensitive to sugar and will not put artificial sweetners into my body, so gatorade and such are not good substitutes.

You need to get to the cause of the problem. Have you had your kidneys checked? How about a seeing a nephrologist or an endocrinologist.

You have been dehydrated for EIGHT years and haven't had any other serious issue??!?! Here is an idea - see a doctor, and have them check your ADH and Aldosterone, and whatever else they think would be worth checking, alright? The problem isn't how much you are putting in....the problem is that it isn't STAYING in...you are actually drinking twice as much water as you should....

If you have a specific medical condition that impairs your ability to properly hydrate your body, you need to discuss this with your doctor.
