Does anyone know anything about Gallstones?
-
Hi, I'm 19 years old. I've been having stomach problems for the last month, a burning gnawing feeling which lead me to believe I might have an ulcer or what not. I also have constant gas bubbles and I've been mildly constipated. Accompanied with that discomfort I've had a pain under the right side of my rib as well. Sometimes it's stabbing and other times it's just a dull pain. It radiates towards my upper back sometimes between my shoulder blades as well. When I saw my doctor he said it could be Gallstones but that it'd be a low risk considering I'm young and in good shape/health. I got a full blood test done last Friday and I should be getting the results soon. I'm worried and I don't know what to do to dull the pain. Pain relievers don't seem to help me much. Has anyone had Gallstones? Is there any advice you can give me?

Answer:
Honey I was 19 when I had my gallbladder removed because of gallstones. They said I had so much that they had to remove my whole gallbladder. But before I found out what it really was, I would get pain after eating something really greasy. For example I ate fried shrimp and I was in pain on the ground an hour later. I went to the ER and they gave me tylenol with codeine. That helped a little bit, but when you pass a stone your pretty much screwed until it passes. It happened again and finally a Dr. did an ultra sound and she saw all my stones. She told me that when you get that excruciating pain it is when you are passing a stone. Oh and I just had a baby and my Dr. said that a lot of young girls that have a baby develops gallstones for some reason. I started to get the pains when I was a few months pregnant. But it wasn't until I had the baby that they could see what was really going on. I had my surgery and ever since I have been fine. Its a very simple surgery too. Your in and out in a day or two. So go get an ultra sound. Oh and also what color is your stools? It is common to have very light brown stools when you have gallstones. Hope this helps sweetie. I totally know what you are going through. If you cant take it go to the ER and demand some good pain killers. Vicodin, Norcos....These are narcotics but they do work.

Gallstones are a result of eating bad oils and LOW fat foods. The liver produces bile and in a normal, healthy person about 1-1/2 quarts of bile per day. If you are eating bad oils, like SOYBEAN, CANOLA, COTTONSEED, or CORN oils; trans fats, fried foods, hydrogenated oils (like in all margarines), partially hydrogenated oils, and salad dressings that contain soy or canola, you are creating the problem. Low fat diets cause the gallbladder to become insufficient and the liver to become a saturated fat factory. The liver can become clogged with intrahepatic gallstones that do not show up on typical doctor diagnostic equipment like ultra sound or scans because these stones have no minerals in them and just look like ordinary bile. Most Americans are producing about 1 pint of bile per day instead of the 1-1/2 quarts they should be producing. 99% of all gallbladder removals are UNNECESSARY! ! ! There are several things that can cause gallbladder insufficiencies, but to remove them because they are not working right is like taking the radiator out of your car because it is over heating! Your car will still run, but not the same way it did before. In fact, when the gallbladder is removed, you still have the problem that caused it to go bad in the first place, just that you now don't feel the pain. The pain you feel in your rotator cuff area of your shoulder blades is very typical of an insufficient gallbladder. It is important for you to understand how to get to the root cause of this and solve that before you get into the hands of the removal experts. A very good thing to do is to convert to eating only olive oil, coconut oil, and real butter made from RAW cream of grass fed cows. Eliminate the bad oils I listed. ALL OF THEM! ! ! from your diet. The liver produces the bile and bile is used for many things in the body, but the bile that goes to the liver is stored there for use when you eat fat. ALL fats contain 3 categories of fatty acids: Saturated, monounsaturated, polyunsaturated and a glycerol molecule that holds them all together. Each fat in nature has all those fatty acids in it and in different combinations or ratios. Saturated fats are for structure like the fat around organs and polyunsaturated fats are for areas in the body where fast action is required, like your eyes and brain. The fat stored in your gallbladder is used to emulsify fats when they enter your small intestines. Lipase enzyme produced in your pancreas is what digests fats, but not until the bile breaks the fat into a watery substance because LIPASE is a WATER SOLUBLE ENZYME. There are simple flushes you can do that get rid of both gallstones and intrahepatic gallstones found in the liver. Most doctors are not even aware of the intrahepatic stones in the liver, but the research that was done at John's Hopkins clearly shows the existence of these and the problems they can create. Add half a freshly squeezed lemon to a cup of hot water (hot enough for tea) when you wake up in the morning. This is a peculiar home remedy that has worked for a considerable number of people. An ultrasound can determine if you have gallstones. If you'd like to keep your gallbladder, in the event someone suggests you have it removed, consult a homeopathic doctor. Hulda Clarke, PhD. has a recipe for gallstone cleanse that expels gallstones in her book The Cure for all Diseases. It's not pleasant, but it works. Again, beats having surgery. Ulcers will disappear with the use of raw sauerkraut (rinse to remove excess salt, eat like salad). Raw sauerkraut will get rid of most stomach issues, like h.pylori. Also tends to get rid of worms.LOL

Ignore thenoseknows and onlymatch4you - you can't flush your gallstone. That's alt med quackery and it won't work. Do what your doctor advises. Hi My friend actually just had her gallstones removed 2 weeks ago. She had surgery for it and was in the hospital for a week. (She's fine now). She told me that for her it was genetic (her mom and grandma had it) and I would say just to get the surgery. In her experience, the only things she said that sucked for her was she was barred from eating most foods (I'm not sure if this was because she had gallstones or if she was allergic or some other things) and that it was painful. But again, she's fine now. She's back to school and everything's normal. You'll be fine.

I know what you are going through, I just had my gallbladder removed on Saturday. I had a gallstone, but none of the test showed it. My best advice is stay away from fatty greasy foods, but don't let your doctor blow you off. Tell him you want to see a gastrointeroligist, they specialize in that area, they can do a couple of tests on you to make sure it's your gallbladder. If you haven't had one the can give you an ultrasound, it's painless, they put ky jelly on your belly and run a wand over your belly, it's pretty much the same thing they give pregnant women, the other 2 tests are a little different. One is a endoscopy, they put you to sleep and put a camera down your throat, it checks to make sure your stomach is ok, you may have a scratchy throat for a day or so, the most pain is the iv they start. The second test is called a hida scan. What they do is start an iv and put meds in it to make your gallbladder empty itself, you might feel sick to your stomach for a few minutes, but it goes away really quick, then they have you lie in what kinda looks like an mri machine and they put stuff in your iv to watch your gallbladder fill back up to see how and if it's working. That's all there is to it. My gallbladder never showed up which meant it wasn't working. My gallbladder was getting ready to go to gangrene, and was affecting how all my organs were working, so don't let them blow you off if it is your gallbladder. I'm sore, but not nearly in as much pain as I was, and you only end up with 4 little holes and I have no stitches. I hope I didn't scare you more, and I really do wish you all the best and hope you get well soon.
